A seven-time All-Star, two-time Gold Glove winner, and Mets Hall of Famer and team captain, Wright was the cornerstone of the Mets during the 2000s and 2010s. Known for his leadership, consistency, and reputation in the clubhouse, he has remained active in baseball since retiring through his foundation and as a youth coach in his community.
